Virgin were failing before Covid happened. A bail out would be a stay of execution and I don’t think people will fly as much as Pre Covid. People will be much better at using technology for meetings etc. I don’t like Qantas having a monopoly but Virgin isn’t the answer. Maybe giving Air NZ a licence to operate in our domestic market is the answer. Virgin is mostly foreign owned so it would be better having our cross Tasman cousins servicing our country rather than the current mob.
