If you are happy flying on a chinese owned airline then more power to you! Let them buy Virgin and lose their shirt. I would love to see the new owners bleed. But I expect they will rape the company by selling aircraft to China for 10 cents in the dollar, putting 5 cents in their own bank accounts in Panama, and then file for receivership shortly afterwards. If you could buy good aircraft for 10 cents on the dollar, wouldn't you? So the CCP will buy good aircraft rather than buying new ones from the USA. The engines & spare parts would be worth more than 30% of the current value of the aircraft if not more.

Any foreign ownership deal will have to come with caveats. Selling aircraft overseas needs to be one of them. And NO government handouts.
