I'm sorry are you to blame for the actions of the companies you invest in?
The person to blame is the previous CEO not the shareholders.

I'm not sure any of the airlines who are shareholders have deep pockets at the moment, Singapore Airlines just got their own bailout.

VAH already have a budget airline, Tiger Airways ever heard of it?
Only way they'll go back down the Virgin Blue route is to kill off Tiger Airlines, maybe that is the answer. Virgin Blue was a success.

Any bailout or funding should come with conditions that they take the required actions to make VAH viable, whatever that takes. I'm not suggesting writing a blank cheque & allow the same mistakes to be made.

It's not just about the jobs, it's also about the damage having a monopoly will do the the economy.
