The market has released a change of holding for VBA with PRK going from 70.5% to 72.2% that makes an increase of 1.7%.

Now, this is were we enter unchartered waters, what happens next.......... I believe that nobody is going to be able to predict the next move from either parties.

I believe znison (#495043) might be correct when he says that PRK will pay $2.20 and that’s from within PRK.

If they are not happy with the current VBA management, PRK are going to have to pay a higher price in order for the shareholders to sell, and that would then allow PRK to remove the current VBA management. Now, this is were it gets interesting, if PRK do increase the share price and win control, and remove the VBA management board who will PRK get to run VBA. As somebody that works in the aviation industry, to get somebody that can run an airline is not that easy, so PRK need to be very careful here. This is one very sensitive industry, the slightest thing can destroy an airline, now back to the question, who would run the airline. The only person that I know of that is available, and can run an airline is Rod Eddington, he has just retired from BA and is returning to Australia, that’s it.

If PRK do gain control, they had better have somebody that can run an airline or the share price will crash, and crash big style. The only person that I know of that can run a budget airline is Ryanair and Easyjet but they are both in difficulty at the moment, I believe that the days of the budget airlines are numbered.
