Also, if you check out the program, on Friday 30th August, Prof McConcie is giving a lecture on the use of Bauxol as a remediation of Acid-Sulphate soils. There is also a lecture on the management of Acid Sulphate Soils in the Tweed Shire, which I think is where Virotec is conducting a trial?
The good thing about these conferences is that they are a good way of pushing a product. If Virotec is the main sponsor, then every person attending will be given a pack with lots of Virotec Information in it. Many people attending are scientists and researchers, but there will also be engineers who are looking for technology that can be applied to fix Acid Sulphate Soil problems.
May have to register for the conference myself. The first two days look pretty boring, but the field trip and the last two days, where management methods are discussed, looks pretty good.
