I found it an interesting observation that Bellamys has in the past few days been referred to as a "Virtual" company.
Meaning that Bellamys doesn't actually own anything tangeable except for its brand name and any inventory it may have in a warehouse somewhere. So they're completely at the mercy of their suppliers, manufacturers and its marketing abilities. Compare this to AHF. We have our own farms, our own cows and now a dedicated manufacturing facility of our own and soon the possibility of a new facility on our own land. Even without the potential of selling into China surely it's a great potential growth story in its own right. I'm not sure how AHF stands with regard to the new China regulatory conditions but it is certainly a fully vertically intergrated supplier from paddock to refrigerator.
Fully Australian with only local suppliers involved. It just seems to justify a share price higher than this!
