I have been a fan of nuclear power for a while. If idiot conservationists didn't get nuclear research canned in Germany and South Africa we would most likely be at gen 10 pebble reactors. Greenys have significant responsibility for the amount of pollution caused over the last 30 years.
That said I now have a solar powered holiday shack and a residence that produce 2.5 times as much power as I use. That includes a pool pump, 125 down lights, industrial size reverse cycle air con, kids and wife running everything for no reason all the time. I'm just converting to heat pump hot water to use a bit more power.
And the cost of this, same price as a new XL ford ranger work ute less tax, bugger all.
The time of nuclear has passed. Get your heads out of your bums you old farts and have a real look at what's available.
