Just in the planning stage to build a new shed 36 x 20. Will definitely be covering roof in solar.
I don't think HV mechanics will be able to out draw the solar. Even with a plasma cutter.
Panels are bugger all, I have cable from an auction, sparky on the books, the big inverter will be the major cost, but should be able to swing some tax deductions, definitely GST.
I have a diesel generator from a mobile concrete batch plant that is new, might forgo mains all together.
Some commercial solar applications are well within reach if you nut it out.
