Afterpay is a unique product - additional credit outside exisiting cards, loans etc, paid back in four instalments.

Visa's new offering (6 months from a pilot trial) - option to split your existing credit transcations on your existing credit/debit card. Already in existence & offered by a number of banks & Mastercard? There is also a mountain of questions - despite Visa potentially offering this for free - this is completely wrong considering someone has to pay the cost of finance (merchants, banks, Visa - who isn't a credit provider).
