I'm not happy that we are cutting ties with Visa, but I'll trust the board and JK's vision on this. After all, he's grown the company to what it is and still sees innovative ways to grow. The turnaround Microsoft has had in the last 4 years has fully convinced me the vision of the CEO is critical in a company's success - I used to think companies only got lucky.

That aside, I think one key lesson Eu and Asian policymakers would have learnt in the last 4 years is the urgent need to start reducing their dependence on US tech. China sort of knew but it would have been strongly re-inforced. Would be interesting to see how things go in the payments space for the next few years.
