You can get a bus which goes up George Street from that Haymarket end of town. Don't know the numbers of the buses- But any that say- "Circular Quay" will take you close to Bridge St.
There's not actually much to see if you just call into the ASX. It's just a big area with the Boards showing moving prices up on the wall. Sometimes there are a couple of chairs for people to sit and watch. It is on the ground floor so you can walk in straight off the street. It was a bit more interesting in the days before we had online trading, blackberries etc as lots of people dashed in to check their stocks as they went about Town. Also it was a bit of a "club' for older blokes- greeks, Asians etc who would sit around chatting and watching stocks. Go to ASX Website they might have free lectures about the ASX whilst UR in Town . Might make it more interesting.
