The new GST reform seemed have to slowed downed the entire industry in India, as things are not clear or at least not been conveyed to the public. However, the Dog-whistle communication from the Indian Govt has caught attention of all concerned. NSL is, and will be a huge beneficiary of the this new GST reform IMO.
To name a few:
1) Clearing the Bottle necks for trucks as they no longer have to wait in a beeline outside toll booths or harassed by the Tax vigilantes.
2) More margins on the product ( Iron ore)
3) Invoicing the sales is a much simpler process

The advantage NSL has over its peers is the LOCATION ( close proximity) to the domestic consumers. As you all might be aware is it costs an arm and leg to cart Iron ore via rails. We being closer to the end users and the ( deep water) port is an added advantage.

I see some people in this forum are harping about excessive supply around the world ( Australia, Brazil..) and China consuming lesser dirt..... In my opinion it won't matter to NSL. If you take the freight rates from Brazil to China it is around 13$ ( just an average figure) and it take 36 days to ship the ore , subject to smooth seas. But sailing via cape of Good hope- forget smoother seas. NSL is stone throw distance to this voracious consumers.

... also when the world Financial pundits ( 18 of them) are bullish about the resilience of Indian Rupiah. As per the survey it is ranked No.1 in the world in terms of resilience . India doesn't seem to get affected with short term shock waves or uncertainty around the world. The below link from the Bloomberg Asia touts about high performing Indian Rupiah.

India is the place to be at the moment and for a long time. Early bird gets the feed and NSL is going to get sumptuously fed
