Unfortunately man has progressed since the days of Adam and we have become physically weaker than our forefathers and need to take supplements. While it is true that we do not need to take every vitamin sold at supermarkets or pharmacies there are some vitamins that do benefit us and these should be taken. If we stop going to KFC, MacDonalds etc and eat a balanced diet and consume vegetables which are free of insecticides or pesticides and animals which eat natural food, we probably do not need vitamins. Hey this is the real world and unfortunately we do not get the natural goodness and hence vitamins are here to stay. 4 Corners can report their findings but its not going to have an impact on people. Smoking is bad but does it deter people from smoking.
