I must agree. Whilst I take supplements I know that any supplement made in nz or australia with an L or R number is ethical and that the product claim can be proven.
It also means the ingredients are true to label and manufactured under gmp conditions.
The same can not be said for products made in USA where regs are loose at best and quality is often just not there as are often made as a food or imported from Mexico or worse.
You do not see many usa products on the aussie market as they just don't come up true to label and often products are only available for a short time as are withdrawn after tga health authorities check them .
Unfortunately many sneak in via mail order. Fraud in usa heakth products particularly in sports supplements is unfortunately quite common .
This is why China who are in fact very strict like nz and au products like vitaco
