Coincidentally I researched the TVIX and others earlier this evening. I was going to write a discussion piece on this topic as I am also quite interested in opening long positions with the SPXU, and either the VIXY or TVIX reasonably soon. However, later I was re-directed to some real work, which I am still working on at present ... besides the time spent on this very quick post. Hence, I don;t have time to write about the VIXY and TVIX right now. Regarding the contango ... I am going to research that as soon as I get time as well. I don't know what a contango is yet, but I think I always wanted to be one.
