The Packers and Murdochs were in my opinion and from the facts that have since emerged been one of the stumbling blocks to attempts to recapitalise the company. Why?. My suggestion is that they both turned out to be less than capable or intelligent investors, careless, foolish and even possibly in breach of certain aspects of the corporations code when investors money was plunged carelessly into a fraud. They had a high level of responsibility which they did not ant an further publicity on.
