Caught people off guard.

People like myself have been holding for a long time and there is no way that I'm going to let go of my shares. We're waiting for the big one that will be happening any time now - many dollars per share. Any where from $4 ( a low $1B AUD bid that we've probably already had but outright rejected) to $10-12 - a serious $2B USD offer.

The others, the sudden sell side would probably be day traders looking to make a quick buck. They would have made some good quick cash. Now, some of them may not have been expecting to cash in so quickly but given they probably bought in yesterday at around $1 and it was as $1.30 today, why not sell and lock in a 30% profit.
