Can be any number of reasons for the big rise, cause some US traders are still watching and possibly trading in the oz market. Then disappearing after work for sleep. Could just be sentiment, as mentioned before, 'look at this thing go'. Traders would sit in front of computer screens all day and see that the sell side was very thin, meaning big gains on small outlay until the sell orders catch up.. then sell and take profits..

Could be a Whiff of a takeover..

Dr mc Col announced results to a packed house a few nights ago, could be new investors..

Could be institutions and pension funds (who are all holding miles of cash) spending up into what seems to be a sure thing in vla, due to Roth rating us at over $4..

Who knows.. the benefit of hindsight is that we may know in a week...
