My experiences with fed gov grants over the years have been interesting. For example: new grant schemes, in unique industries, seem easy to get and the $$$ get pumped by the fed gov pretty fast. And the reporting requirements are pretty easy and you get given an easy ride. Existing and old grant schemes are the difficult ones ....... with a huge amount of competition and huge compliance costs/burdens.
