I'd be shocked if any holders bought in based on VML hiring an individual to provide consulting services for a few months, has little to do with VML itself and was more a nice to have.
No need for further explanation either, regardless of why he left he is still gone so what difference does it make. If anything I am glad he actually had some nice words to say about VML, and clearly left due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e. death in the family, injury, surgery etc..) rather than leaving due to VML itself.
