Hello Everyone,
Recently VML was apparently added to the MSCI Global Small Cap list, with the date of addition to be 27 May from memory. (On the 'chart' thread some posts about this have already been made)
Lynas was added to the same index in Nov 2017 and I'm curious about what happened with Lynas stock at that time, with a view to understanding what's going to happen to VML.
I haven't yet done that research, Has anyone on here already done that research and if so can they share?
I'm thinking that as I understand it a number of different ETF index funds copy MSCI index lists. That a number of ETF/institutional buyers will now be seeking to buy VML as it will now be needed as part of their funds stock.
Is anyone on here familiar with what happens when a stock is listed onto a MSCI index and if so can they explain in their experience what happens?
