• Good detail around their relationship with local indigenous groups looking to establish them into new/expanded businesses for green power and barging, backed by long term agreements from VML for those services. And also offering them a path to taking equity in VML with board representation if the equity stake is large enough
• Nothing new but a nice summary of the supply chain from ore to concentrated ore in the NWT then barging to Saskatoon for processing into a cerium-reduced mixed RE carbonate then to REETech (Norway) for separation into individual RE oxides to Schaffler (Germany) to produce EV drivetrains
• Interesting take on the willingness, or lack thereof, for EV builders to actually pay a premium for high ESG source materials. He suggests governments will need policy intervention to prevent low ESG materials entering the supply chain
