Little bit of a follow on here on why it could be taking so long

I suspect on the day the Ann came out about the Canadian $1.5 bil funding we went into lockdown as in the TH, as you can imagine news press would be sniffing around for info names etc etc about this funding

So its looking like we have stuck our hat in the ring for the SIF funding
Strategic Innovation Fund

The Strategic Innovation Fund, for example, will provide up to $1.5 billion in funding for projects that decrease or remove reliance of foreign critical mineral inputs across certain sectors.

Is that VML or not i think so

So on looking at the process below it would appear that their is quite a lengthy process to go through jumping through various hoops along the way,  

Could well be, we actually applied prior to this public ann and found to be in successful applicants and  found ourselves at the due diligence stage on the $1.5 bil Announcment

At which point we  had to go into a TH and suspension untill  such time as this agreement is implemented  

Process below

The application process for SIF funding begins with a consultation to ensure alignment with priorities and eligibility requirements. SIF officials may then recommend submitting a statement of interest kicking off the full application process. Finally, a due diligence assessment of successful applicants is completed before a contribution agreement is developed and implementation begins.

Priority is expected to be given to projects that focus on lithium, graphite, nickel, cobalt, copper, and rare earth elements as well as to “advanced-stage projects capable of demonstrating significant financial and technical readiness” and those that offer a strategic advantage to Canada and its partners. This inter-governmental effort consisting of federal departments, provincial partners, Indigenous communities and industry stakeholders has already invested $249 million in such operations.
