There is a few things that could happen,they might not renew mining lic ,they could go slow and i mean slow on reissuing permits..
They could be approached by some mining company with creds and capital and they could issue the lic to them...close to the expiry date..A bit like how Shengi went to Tanzania before they signed up with VML.
VML reputation is not very good at the moment in the Northern Territories, at all levels.
Decisions are made locally.
