Evan Cranston mentioned on Twitter a while ago that the first thing Geoff did when restrictions were lowered was to meet with the Tanzanian government about the mining lease. What more can they do? Also, Peak needs more work with finalising theirs https://www.mining-journal.com/energy-minerals-news/news/1423360/peak-holds-out-as-trio-sign-tanzanian-deals so we could be simply in the same bracket as them. Admittedly, it is an issue when Tanzania are proudly displaying Chinese made tanks - it’s crazy but was it just money Tanzania paid the CCP for the tanks? https://www.janes.com/amp/tanzania-parades-vt2-tank/ZnlJK3dHVU9mZ28xajRJVkc5dVI5VFp1cVMwPQ2 Most likely there is nothing to worry about the rare earth tenements will stay in western hands anyway. Tanzanian government would love to host an ethical miner like VML if they are still committed to having the Wigu Hill tenement mined.
