Even showing a little patience and selling in smaller parcels spread over a couple of weeks would have kept the SP higher and netted him more cash. However, perhaps he borrowed the money to pay for the options on a very short term loan basis. For me the biggest bugbear with options is that the conversion price is never set high enough. If this bloke had had to pay 5c for them instead of more like 2c he would have had less incentive to pillage the company and may even have held them in order to try to double his money. The moral to the story? Don't be an ordinary mug shareholder; become a director instead.
