Hello. I recall reading a recent announcement about VMM proposing to use IXR's theoretical technology. This may possibly point to the questionable conventional economics of VMM's projects due to grade; and also point to why MEI are focused on developing a 4,000ppm to 5,000ppm 5mpta deposit. My personal view is, based on current REE prices (which are improving), VMM has poor economics using conventional processing & CAPEX and MEI is severely overvalued.
REE prices recently bottomed out in line with historical (pre-COVID) REE prices. What is going to happen to REE prices if suddenly thousands of tonnes of Brazilian REE floods the market?
The last time I looked, it appeared Cupim South is the only deposit that could prove up 50Mt approaching 2,800ppm (if lucky).
