one reason could be that MEI are focussing on their southern resources (soberbo and capao) for their scoping study. All their met testwork in the recent announcement was for those two. So the southern areas clearly preferred for MEI. Aren’t VMM tenements adjacent to MEI’s northern resources, i.e., the ones they don’t seem to value as highly?
Doesn’t explain the massive difference though.. Also MEI have a whopping ~5% private royalty on their tenements.
