Thanks. I don't get much / any 'feed' from Japan for some reason. Do you know if this still active? Maybe I need to tweak my 'machine'.


The Malaysian launch appears to have born fruit relatively quickly. Green-shoot stuff as you might expect but interesting for a number of reasons............




It's always good to get some B2G stuff. TRXDM is overseen by the Ministry of Finance. Hopefully they can win over the Police / army etc with the 'police version' above. Much more expensive than the normal model. More money to be had.


One other thing occurred to me about stuff in Malaysia is around Modenas. Mentioned the other day.






Off the top of my head, I can't recall if other mobs are flogging the VS1 in Malaysia. And I notice that the Modenas web-page refers to it as a 'concept'. The bike ain't. Maybe they are referring to awaiting the completion of homologation / certification by authorities for that model.

The reason for raising that is that a while back some posters were talking about accounting treatments and 'non-sale' revenue or contributions from customers.

Homologation etc is an example of that category of accounting 'item'. When a product is being launched in a country, the distributor and Vmoto both 'contribute' to the cost of that process. No sales involved, just shared costs.

Don't know if that stuff is of interest to other posters.
