Im not sure Vmoto will have much to do with the recycling. I would have thought theyd be just a source, passing it onto the recycler possibly for a small fee and in doing so ticking a box re reducing waste/carbon footprint.
Similar happenings already occur in the automotive industry.
In Adelaide batteries are usually collected from workshops by recyclers for say $5.00. Obviously Lithium batteries may one day be worth more but its nothing more than ticking a box for Vmoto I'd have thought.
The statement from above that really jumps out to me and where investors should be focusing:
"30% of two wheelers worldwide forecast to be electric by 2030"
A quick google tells me that there's currently about 600 million scooters and motorbikes in the world.
If the statement means 30% of scooters/motorbikes in existence, this means 180 million will be electric if correct.
If Vmoto can obtain 1% of two wheeler ev market for scooters/motorcycles, this means they'd have potentially sold 1.8 million scooters by 2030 aka an average of 360 thousand for the 5 years 2025-2029. MASSIVE!
360 thousand x 10% profit margins is roughly AUD 34.6 million per year.
More likely, the statement refers to 30% of new sales yearly being electric.
If the statement actually means yearly new electric scooters/motorcycles sold by 2030 will be 30% of total two wheel vehicle sales.... then based on current figures that report for two wheel vehicle sector "The market is projected to grow from USD 123.54 billion in 2024 to USD 215.96 billion by 2032, exhibiting a CAGR of 7.2% during the forecast period."
30% of new sales market by 2030 is electric this equates to USD 200 billion-ish according to the above statement.
If Vmoto can secure 1% of market share that equates to 2 billion in revenues yearly by 2030.
At a profit margin of 10% this equates to a profit of roughly 200 million USD. AKA AUD 300 million.
So... assuming 34.6 million to 300 million yearly profits by 2030, profit per share could be
At current shares outstanding 405,000,000
8.5 cents - 74 cents per share.
At a p/e ratio of 15 we get a share price of $1.27 - $11.10.
Imagine we shoot the lights out and secure 2-3% of market share... WOWEE!
