    Hi all

A few random observations about social media feeds.........

I find this interesting because it is sorta a new market segement.....B2G..........Government authorites placing 'free' 2W EVs at stations. The 'last mile' delivery is 'commuterts' not food / groceries ecomm purchases...................

I find this interesting because it represents an example of another sales pipeline..........Vmoto linking up with intermediary rental companies.............another Cooltra or Greenmo?............But this time the service is rebadged as Vmoto Rent (but underpinned by 3rd pary in Lokki..............

All adding to the 'one stop' concept offered by Vmoto especally in regions where they bought back the master franchise.

Maybe that will make Cooltra try even harder guven that they have in house competiton? One of the advantages of having the CPx in the Vmoto stable? The primo Euro model in the segment?

Hopefully the ongoing rollout of the EV ecosystem (Vammo Battery Exchange stations, alliances with Shell /Raizen) and the accompaniment of fast charging batteries / charge stations will see the Vammo / Latam market start to grow exponentially in the latter part of '24 and into '25. Need the infrastructure in place to enable this and Vmoto's move into excahnge and rapid charge networks will hopefully enable this (thanks to like minded partners).

My recollection is that Vammo shooting for 150 stations in the short-term but with tat $30m and partners hopefully that is just the start.

I know I was driving peopl nuts with my ramblings about battery excahnge stations etc last year. The unfolding of this stuff though seesm to be setting the stage for a sales surge (hopefully this financial year).

I liked @DAK123 's post about the role of fast cahrging batteries on the thread. I am still trying to nut out why the emphasis in LATAM is the battery exchange station network, whilst in Indonesia, it appears to be the the ecosystem is getting its start via the fast charge stations / batteries.

One last thing, the Malaysian market is showing some signs of greenshoots too. I like thay have sold (admittedly only a small number so far) some more of the marked up 'police' models to one of its first B2B/B2G clients.........................

    God that's a bit of a rant.

One last last thing.....hopefully the silly season is almost done. EOFY sell off and small parcel buyback thingy almost done?

    Cheers
