For those interested in some specualtion about JVs, particulalry into Thailand, I figure Modenas will be involved in some form or another. I also think they provide a good partner for broader expansion.

Some interesting partners including Kawasaki. In fact Kawasaki 'trusted them' to assemble Kawasaki KDP for the Chinese markets.

They want to 'go electric' form 2025 onwards......

They started the move to EV last year with the Vmoto's rebadged VS1 and called it the MEV-1 (which has been mentioned a few times (?) on the threads here.








In any case, the 'boys' visted Modenas headquarters recently (you can spot the Modenas and EMOS logos to the left and behind Charles head.







And hopefully have a hand in filling the 'new' Thailand Factory.






I can recall Modenas 'talking' about heading to LATAM as well but my searches of the 'feeds' hasn't located it. If I find it I'll pin that up.

The Kawasaki link is an interesting one.
