Losing track of what's been posted about Modenas and POS in the past but the 'concept' MEV-1 appears to be no longer a 'concept'.

A while back Malaysia's Postal Service took charge of 50 'Modenas' VS-1s (the MEV-1) and I assumed that Modenas was assembling them..................

but turns out they are still(?) coming off the floor in Nanjing and, according to Paul Vickefy (our friend at Ad-Moto), there's quite a few heading to Malaysia.

The POS VS1 / MEV-1 featured in the main entrance. Suggests it is a 'significant model'.

Later in the reel, we seem them en masse on the production line............'These are all going to Malaysia"

Seems like Vmoto / Modenas beat out the competition mentioned in this vid about the the 'electification' of the Malaysian Postal Service.

So another (hopefully a big one) win in malaysia and with the visit to Modeans HQ recently by the 'boys', perhaps something coming re Thailand as well as Modenas is still building ICE stuff at their home base. Importing EVs from Vmoto currently. Next step, an EV assembly JV in Thailand? Specualtion obviously.

Finally. Wondering what Paul is doing in Nanjing. Might be just a routine visit to chat. Maybe another venture with Vmoto and Ad-Moto?

Good to see the post Office client list building. Not so many years ago Charles' exit strategy was building a 50 post office client list for e max and selling the company to Honda.

That little ambition has grown into something much bigger.

The clue to the Thailand JV partner lies in identifying this little guy.
