Whilst waiting for an announcement regarding Ivan's 'revolution' in Asia, I keep thinking about LATAM.
Hopefully Vammo will be the pin-up boy/girl and an example of what is to come.
Recently we have learnt they have raised $30m US and intend spreading throughout Sth America. Hopefully they will link up with other Vmoto clients in the North (Italika in Mexico and others in Peru etc).
But for the moment they are focussed on Brazil and Sao Paulo in particular.
They linked up with Raizen Power and talkd about 100 exchange stations is Shell (?) stations.

.........................make that 250 by years end in that city alone.
More good news for Vmoto.....apart from apparently using their battery exchange stations, they appear to be flogging off the NUI and Yadea models they used to have in their fleet (I think that might be to do with those batteries not being compatible (?)
Most interesting of all for me in the article is that the exchange stations will become a selling point for normal punters, not just the motoboys (last mile delivery drivers), because the stations remove 'range anxiety'.
Maybe the transition to the B2C market will start to kick. Yes!
They key to all of this, of course, is the ability of companies to sell bikes, ex battery. That way the purchasers are a captive market.
You need great bikes...................as Billy from Vammo commented on when Hubees posted about their selection
..........................you also need great battery exchange stations.
Hopefully, Vammo also recognise the need for a great manufacturing JV partner.
