It is a hot segment of the market at the moment and it would appear that sentiment has definitely trended towards greener modes of transport - which are also cheaper to run.
There are expectations that technology is moving towards greater battery life and shorter re-charging times. That expectation is probably just as important a driver towards increased take up of EV's in general.
All VMT has to do is be visible and have their products do the rest of the work. I do get the feeling that price is going to be a determining factor moving forward and if VMT can improve the economy of scale required to keep its prices down, the the future is almost assured.
