Re social media and Ducati, the story I was referring to makes sense now as Graziano has posted about it last night. VMT has renewed the agreement with Ducati corse and more. From Brazil videos of dozens of swap station being delivered and unboxed. Could Vammo be the up and coming south American version of our European customer Go sharing?
Go sharing's rapid build up of fleet a few years back contributed massively to the profit growth and related share price upwards trend. Only Vammo business is going to be bigger and involve more expensive vehicles and battery swap stations, overall vammo buy a more complex mix of products.
Now this is all just B2B business, however VMT believe the B2B market will grow reliably but it will be much smaller than the electric B2C market in just a few years time (see posts from last week). As soon as the Japs begin introducing electric bikes and they start to become a more common sight in cities around the world, more and more people will be lured into buying electric for urban mobility. It will sort of feed on itself, being the only one selling electric bikes doesn't help (counter-intuitive) regardless of the lower competition, which is actually going to help stimulating demand. Same works for fast food, with chains opening stores next to each other, instead of competing woth one another the concentration of fast food restaurants in one place boosts overall sales for all by increasing demand. People get less afraid of switching to electric if they see more people around them going electric, regardless of any rationale behind it.
