Very strange. The Arcadia is still scheduled to dock at Burnie yesterday at 5am, but seems to be stuck off West Australia.
I was watching it out of curiosity to see how long it normally takes a cargo ship to sail from near Singapore to Tassie... (Im guessing our first shipment of IO in the opposite direction would be a little heavier and slower when it eventually leaves on a similar ship)...
but it disappeared off radar soon after I first posted about it. So I sent a query last night to make sure the crew had not come to any harm... then about 2 hours ago, it pinged radar off the coast of WA... and still says it was due at Burnie yesterday at 5am.
Marine trackers showed a Toll and other ships coming and going from Burnie yesterday...
It seems like a dumb question to ask if you happened to see it anyway, but perhaps there is a glitch and it came and went on schedule despite conflicting radar data?
Im a newbie to ship-watching.
But now that VMS is shifting from explorer to producer, Im finding it fascinating.
