Probably doesn't seem like it but I think the WHOs declaration of a pandemic is ultimately a good thing. Means countries will move from containment and lockdown to treatment. This should help boost the movement of goods, services and capital - which is needed to help avoid a longer term recession (a short one I think at this point is a given).
Futures and overseas indexes looking messy, hard news to swallow until you realise there are massive positives baked in as well.
