Ingram wont touch DDR IMHO. And too many of the old Ingram crew moved across to DDR (execs, PMs, AMs etc) to want to rejoin Ingram (keyman risk therefore). Then you've got 2 very different cultures with too many same-same vendors. All that DDR warehouse space wouldn't be needed with Ingram new purpose built facility. Ingram wouldn't derive enough synergies from that acquisition.

If Vlad has stopped communicating, then be watchful. He really is and has been the hand on the rudder with DD a figurehead collecting the dividends (a 99% payout ratio ? Really ?? For who's benefit. Especially when a distributor isn't margin rich to begin with).

I had noted sometime back DD was going to run into bottlenecks and a slowdown in business. We'd seen it coming and now it is playing out. CQ4 has not been strong across the board. They and all Distributors are up to their eyeballs in laptops and other stuff just not selling. The vendors are fine (for now) as they have shoved that stock into the channel. DDR now take the hit with capital and aging stock they (and others) all need to dump at the same time.

Disclosure: I don't hold DDR stock right now, but will trade in and out of it.
