The fact is none of those people remain involved, whereas MR does. There's a point of difference right there.

I respect your right to be sceptical, but given that none of us KNOWS for a fact whether MR's full of it, it's also fair enough for others to give him (and the rest of management) the benefit of the doubt and remain optimistic.

I choose the latter.
