Just wanted to put this out to add to the VO2 Max discussion & education for all here, not just for the cancer research field but for living healthier longer lives ourselves.
Global Cycling Network has posted a video talking about “Why VO2 Max is the Greatest Predictor of Lifespan.” And have some more still coming. Midway there is a chart to see ratings based on ages & sex, glad to find I was above average, but will be paying more attention to this in my fitness regime this year.
Looking forward to seeing more in this field for cancer patients. For now I’ll be using my Apple Watch to track my own health. Hope we can have an easy way for cancer patients to track their recovery and heart health.
