With a share this volatile taking a quick profit is probably wise, you could miss out on a big gain if the new offer turns out to be true but a profit is a profit.
To me it looks like just a rumour, I assume by tomorrow it will be heading back towards $3 I've sold out at $3.335 today bought at $3.06 three weeks ago, if it returns to $3.07 I will look to rebuy ( also did the same $3.06 to $3.35 in June held for three days 17-20th), if the rumour is true or another bid occurs then good luck to the holders if not use the swings to gain some extra profits.
