    I also agree on not diversifying too much. He's not in his 40's or 50's with a huge million dollar portfolio.

    He's 19 with (relatively) nothing to lose. Diversifying would kill his returns - just brokerage alone would do it. Invest into a company you believe in and stick to it until you build up your portfolio.
