Yeh I agree the value is just too high for PE to step in, I think the SP would need to drop well below $1.80 for there to be any serious interest which would only come if there was a further announcement of profit downgrade or there was some other major event that spooks the market. We are not in panic mode as yet even though management performance has been questionable the level and value of the assets should keep the SP steady.
My only real concern is debt ratio and the risk of higher interest rates placing a drain on cash flow which effectively would slow or reduce the speed of integration especially in regards to systems
Surely the smart move would be to sell off the parts of the business that are holding a large cost risk?
