hmmmm. Can't say I really believe IBM.  The fact that the DDOS (that noone has found evidence of..... except IBM's claims... sooo.....) emulates exactly what eCensus is - millions of hits on the same website at once - suggest that it was a poorly constructed system, not a failure of the geoblocking. Whether there was "a hole in Island Australia" or not is sort of moot.

Further, if what IBM says is actually true (that NextGen left a door open), isn't that kind of impressive that their 1 link can handle that much traffic? So in a way its a complement - but still a lie on IBM's part.

This is just IBM still trying to deflect blame.
