Two of Vodafone Hutchison Australia's most senior executives resigned just days before the Federal Court is due to rule on the proposed merger with TPG Telecom.

Chief technology officer Kevin Millroy and chief commercial officer Ben McIntosh would both leave this month, Vodafone said in a statement. A spokeswoman said the decision was mutual.

This should be interesting for the merger gossip....
