Of course oil can go back to 40.
We are in a boom, and like all booms it will end.
When that is, i don't know.
Or do you believe the "this time it is different" story?

I remember "smart money" predicting oil might go to $5 (when it was $12), back in '99.

This is just a boom, and to say 40 oil is not unreasonable (whatever u might think of him).
