Not really sure why you are trying to defend it, appears self indictment to me.
2) As for the PRRT vs RSPT, 6% vs 11% capital escalation, writeoff of escalated capital before you pay any PRRT vs depreciation of RSPT assets over time. Do you really even need an envelope to see how this works for a multi-billion dollar project with capex weighted several years before revenue even starts?
Fortunately CUE would be under PRRT, not RSPT (baring another grenade from Rudd/Swan of course).
3) I think the rest of us are trying to move on.
