    yes I read your earlier post to this point. as I responded these people weren't known to me for their political views but as "freedom fighters". Gandhi and Mandela foremost because they espoused non-violent social "disobedience" to what they viewed as illegal Laws. laws that were contrary to human rights and dignity.

    these principles are what is being applied in the Voice campaign, as I see it.
    I don't support communism or socialism. I also don't support hard right fascism or right wing politics. in fact, as you know, I don't support political movements. period.

    I support free democracy.... without political adversarial ideology.

    if my preferences appear to you to be right or left, its down to artefacts in my posts and your interpretation.

    if political adversity is one person's thing, it doesn't change my position. I embrace elements of right and left, just not in a partisan way. so in this context, I see Dutton as destructive to democracy and Albanese, due to his non-partisan offer to Dutton, as a true democrat (not in the US sense).

    this is reflective of my ideology perhaps. I've come to appreciate that you too share some of these values but lean a little more to the right than I do.
