OCWA, I agree, an audit should be undertaken of the whole Aboriginal "Industry".
But not by Public Servants based in the ACT or anywhere else in the country. These PS's have been in charge for over 50 years and look at the mess they have delivered.
When the voting is dissected, the only anomaly in the whole country is in the ACT, the territory that has the highest percentage of public servants per capita of all States and the NT. It is a time for change.
There are a multitude of highly skilled individuals that could assist the country in beginning to sort out this blight. Do they need or want to be paid huge salaries or are there appropriately skilled philanthropists out there that would be willing to assist?
Start with the NIAA, the organization that was setup to give advice to the Government on all things aboriginal and funded to the tune of $3 Billion per year. The Yes campaigners have been telling us it does not fulfill it's function, hence the need for the Voice.
A recent report in The Australian stated there were 84 Government organizations funded to provide services to the residents on the Dampier Peninsula in WA. Trouble was nobody knew that over 70 of these organizations even existed. They have, since that report shut 14 of these money pits.
Highest priorities, educate the kids, eliminating both domestic violence, and sexual assault.
Despite the divisions wrought by the referendum, there is only one side here.
    Team Australia.
